Weekend Shift Material Handler

To provide support, reliability and accuracy in the delivery of and distribution of raw materials from AJ vendors and AJ Trucks into each plant. This position is, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6AM - 6:30PM Pay: $20 + $3.25 Shift Differential Job Duties: Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE Operate forklift, pallet jack, dolly Complete the Forklift Operator Daily Checklist Visually inspect material for any handling damage General knowledge of material specifics for identification and differentiation Move material to storage locations Delivery and distribution of commonly shared items Move material per inventory transfer as needed Keep work area clean Fill vertical and horizontal extrusion racks with supplies Move and stack large buggies of extrusion Pull glass per work order and stage for production Perform assembly/production duties as needed Physical Demands: While performing the job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, use hands to lift, carry and stack material The employee is frequently required to reach with hands, arms and to bend at waist Frequently, employees must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. up to 50 feet Occasionally operator must be able to climb up and down forklifts Must be able to pass forklift certification Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
