• Friday 8:00 PM to Saturday 6:00 AM
• Saturday 7:00 PM to Sunday 5:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct scheduled yard checks and keep trailer inventory records accurate
• Perform reefer temperature checks and confirm compliance with requirements
• Identify and report equipment, trailer and yard issues
• Communicate with drivers and operations staff about trailer movements
• Provide backup dispatch support as needed
• Keep accurate records in company systems
• Follow all safety and operational procedures
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience in yard operations, dispatch, logistics, transportation or warehouse/shipping
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to work independently on overnight shifts
• Comfortable with computers and transportation software
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and availability every Friday and Saturday night
Preferred Experience: Yard Checker, Yard Jockey Coordinator, Shipper/Receiver, Dispatcher, Logistics or Freight Operations
