Weekend Inbound/Outbound Clerk

Ponce Ground Service LLC is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Gate Clerks to support our daily transportation and yard operations. The Gate Clerk is responsible for monitoring and documenting all tractor-trailer traffic entering and exiting our facilities while ensuring accurate records and smooth communication between drivers and operations. Job Responsibilities Check in and check out commercial tractor-trailers entering and exiting the facility. Verify driver information, tractor numbers, trailer numbers, and other required details. Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound yard activity. Complete and process gate documentation and shipping/receiving paperwork. Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and operations personnel. Monitor yard traffic and help maintain an organized and efficient flow of equipment. Follow company procedures and facility security requirements. Assist with additional administrative and operational duties as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in transportation, trucking, logistics, or warehouse operations is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills and ability to enter information accurately. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling. Availability to work weekends, evenings, or overnight shifts as needed.
