Website Photographer / Inventory Assistant

Job description: Eldred’s, New England’s oldest antiques and fine arts auction house, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to work as a part-time photographer, photo editor and inventory coordinator. At Eldred’s you will work with a dynamic team of seasoned antiques and fine arts specialists and see a diverse selection of material, ranging from home décor to priceless works of art. It is a great place to work for those interested in design, history, and antiques. Primary responsibilities include: Photograph auction lots for use on the websites and marketing materials for Eldred’s and its subsidiary, Sandwich Auction House. Perform basic editing and digital file management. Organize and track inventory for photography. Assist inventory specialists in preparing lots for auction. Requirements: High School or equivalent diploma. Valid driver’s license. Personal accountability and a willingness to work in team-based collaborative environment. Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Adaptable to changes in deadlines and daily tasks based on the fluid needs of the company. Photoshop/Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred but not required. Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds. Important Note: Because Eldred’s handles a variety of antique items, including rugs and textiles, it is not a good workplace environment for people with severe allergies. This position offered is full-time, Monday-Friday.
