Water Truck Operator -Winter Program

Water Truck Operator Heart Lake Construction Heart Lake Construction is hiring water truck operators for civil earthworks projects in Northeastern Alberta. This role requires a valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's licence with air brakes and a clean driver's abstract. Projected start date: Mid November 2026, pending weather and project requirements. Project location: Multiple projects in Northeastern Alberta Shift: 14 days on / 7 days off Compensation: Wages based on experience Accommodation: Camp position What you bring · Previous experience in civil earthworks construction. · Reliable attendance and flexibility to accommodate shift changes. · Written and verbal English skills to follow instructions, communicate with the crew, and recognize site hazards. · Ability to perform physical outdoor work in dusty and noisy conditions. · Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's licence with air brakes and a clean driver's abstract. What you will do · Operate water trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and site requirements. · Complete daily equipment inspections, checklists, and required documentation before use. · Fuel, grease, clean, and check equipment fluid levels. · Perform labourer duties as needed or directed by the site supervisor. Safety tickets and pre employment requirements Required safety tickets · Construction Safety Training System (CSTS 2020) · Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS 2015) · First Aid · H2S Alive · Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) · Ground Disturbance Level 2 Pre-employment requirements include drug and alcohol testing, a medical assessment, and an audiogram. Employees must follow the company's drug and alcohol policy throughout employment.
