PURPOSE OF POSITION Movement of manufactured parts physically within the production areas and transactional movements within the ERP system. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. More specifically, the person will: Receive all manufactured parts into the supermarket upon completion. Unloading, checking part numbers, bin locations, verifying orders, data entry and delivery of parts to weld cells. Respond to internal customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes and or cancellations. Data entry with production entries for items manufactured in house for parts orders, stock and work orders. When needed, inventory movement data entry within system. Operates forklift to pick up, deliver, and move materials throughout the plant. Push, pull, load and unload parts carts within the plant. Keeping work area clean and organized, discarding boxes and pallets. Assist manager where needed and with other duties as assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS High School Diploma/GED. Must be able to use tape measure, read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings. Prior experience in a warehouse/inventory control role preferred. Experience with hand scanners preferred.
