The Role: Copia Resources is seeking a reliable, hardworking Driver to service client properties along assigned daily routes. This is a hands-on position that combines driving, physical labor, and independent route management. Drivers are responsible for safely operating company vehicles, navigating assigned routes, and maintaining clean and organized trash and recycling areas. Daily responsibilities include sorting waste materials, cleaning trash enclosures, and loading and removing bulky items such as furniture and appliances. Drivers typically work independently but may occasionally work alongside Crew Members. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and capable of managing their route efficiently with minimal supervision. The Duties Safely operate company-provided trucks while traveling between assigned client properties. Independently manage and complete assigned daily service routes. Use routing software to navigate efficiently between service locations. Service and maintain trash enclosures and waste collection areas at client properties. Sort and properly separate trash, recyclable materials, and compost. Sweep, clean, and maintain the overall appearance of trash enclosures and surrounding areas. Load, transport, and remove bulky items, including furniture, appliances, and other discarded materials. Coordinate with Crew Members when assigned to work together. Communicate route progress, service issues, and operational needs to supervisors. Identify and report property conditions or service concerns requiring additional attention. Maintain productivity and service quality while working independently. Represent Copia Resources professionally when interacting with clients, coworkers, and the public. Requirements: Valid driver's license required with 3 years of clean driving history. A commercial driver's license (CDL) is not necessary. Ability to repeatedly lift and move items weighing 75 lbs or more. Ability to push and pull wheeled waste bins weighing 600 lbs or more. Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift. Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining service quality. Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively. Good judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently when needed. Ability to use a cell phone for work-related communication, including text messages, emails, and photos. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in waste management, recycling, property services, or a similar field. Experience driving or maneuvering a trailer. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Work Schedule This is a full-time position requiring five workdays per week. Shifts are expected to begin in the early morning or morning hours, with specific start times and workdays determined by client property needs. Candidates must have flexibility as schedules may change based on operational requirements.
