Job Summary As a Warehouse & Yard Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our premium stone inventory and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. You will handle and store materials, load and unload shipments, and ensure that our warehouse and yard operations run efficiently. If you enjoy active work, operating machinery, and taking pride in a highly organized yard, this is the position for you. Tasks & Responsibilities Horus Inventory Scanning: Assist in photographing, scanning, and digitizing incoming stone slabs utilizing our Horus inventory system. Forklift & Equipment Operation: Safely transport, arrange, and secure heavy stone slabs using forklifts and specialized material handling equipment. Yard Maintenance: Keep the remnant yard orderly, clean, and organized; return leftover stone remnants from production back to inventory. Loading & Unloading: Safely receive slab deliveries from flatbed trucks and shipping containers; stage outgoing materials for production. Production Support: Pull and stage specific stone slabs to fulfill active fabrication and production requirements. Customer Viewing Support: Safely stage natural stone and quartz materials for customer viewing in the showroom/yard area. Waste Management: Safely move waste materials from production containers to on-site dumpsters. Safety & Cleanliness: Actively maintain a exceptionally clean, hazard-free warehouse. Follow all company safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team. Position Requirements Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting heavy materials and working comfortably in both indoor warehouse environments and outdoor weather conditions. Equipment Experience: Prior experience operating forklifts or heavy machinery is highly preferred. Stone Knowledge: Willingness to learn and recognize various types, colors, and specific locations of natural and engineered stone products.
