Key Responsibilities
• Sort and separate recyclable metals in a recycling yard environment (training provided)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard
• Assist customers with materials and general inquiries
• Operate equipment including:
• Sit-down forklift (required)
• Bobcat/skid steer (preferred or willingness to learn)
• Move and handle large metal materials and recyclable goods
• Perform general labor tasks and assist wherever needed across the yard
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor work environment
This is a hands-on, all-around warehouse and yard associate role, not a single-task position. Flexibility and teamwork are key.
Requirements
• Some** Sit-down forklift experience **preferred
• Bobcat/skid steer experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to lift, move, and sort recyclable materials
• Comfortable working** outdoors** in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
