Forklift Operator / Swing Driver – Full-Time Opportunity Location: Elkridge, Maryland Schedule: Monday–Friday | Flexible Day Shift Employment Type: Full-Time Join an Established Packaging Company! We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and motivated Forklift Operator / Swing Driver to join our team at an established packaging distribution company in Elkridge, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of warehouse experience, strong forklift operating skills, and the ability to assist with local deliveries as needed. Advancement opportunities are available for qualified candidates with previous warehouse management or supervisory experience. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a sit-down forklift to pull, stage, load, and unload products. Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment and delivery. Load outbound trucks while ensuring products are properly secured and protected from damage. Occasionally operate a 26-foot straight truck, transit van, or cargo van for deliveries throughout the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. Verify order accuracy and maintain shipping and delivery documentation. Assist with inventory organization, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Follow company safety procedures and operational standards. Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, drivers, and management to ensure efficient daily operations. Required Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse experience , preferably in distribution or logistics. Experience safely operating a sit-down forklift. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver's license with fewer than three moving violations in the past three years. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening. Ability to obtain a DOT medical card prior to employment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and dependable attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Current forklift certification preferred. At least two years of straight truck driving experience preferred. Experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Previous warehouse management, supervisory, or team leadership experience preferred.
