Warehouse Worker - Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Join Northcentral Telcom (NCT) as a full-time Warehouse Worker - Shipping & Receiving Clerk to ensure precision, quality, and timeliness in our daily warehouse operations! You'll maintain digital records, verify shipments for accuracy, and help ensure customers and field teams receive the materials they need. When you join us in Menomonee Falls, WI , you'll earn $18.00 - $21 per hour (based on experience) and receive benefits like: Health insurance Vision Dental PTO Paid holidays 401(k) plan Voluntary disability coverage Employer-paid life insurance policy ABOUT THIS JOB Our Warehouse Workers - Shipping & Receiving Clerks typically work from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Some flexibility may be required to meet operational needs. You'll play a key part in accurate, efficient, and timely shipping and receiving processes by verifying the accuracy of incoming/outgoing shipments and maintaining up-to-date inventory records. You'll work within our computer system, operate various machinery, and complete hands-on responsibilities like assembling cables and tool kits. Field crews may also submit work orders/material requests, and you'll be responsible for gathering the correct supplies and transporting them to job sites in a company vehicle. Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to): Opening incoming/outgoing boxes and containers to review contents and compare with inventory records Identifying shortages, damages, and discrepancies and contacting establishment representatives to address the issue Marking materials and moving them to and from the receiving, production, and/or storage areas using forklifts, conveyors, and hand trucks Accurately documenting crucial information like weights and amounts of materials received Preparing work orders, bills of lading, shipping orders, and other documents Moving, distributing, and gathering items based on customer specifications, work orders, requisitions, and the production schedule Determining shipping methods based on routes, rates, and procedures Contacting carrier reps as needed for instructions and to make shipping arrangements Packing, sealing, labeling, and preparing materials for shipping ABOUT US In 1996, Northcentral Telcom (NCT) started as a local and nationwide provider of EFI and testing services on major carrier networks. WAREHOUSE WORKER - SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK REQUIREMENTS Forklift certification Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) Ability to use hands/fingers to assemble packages, work with cables, and use tools Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift/move 10 - 25 pounds Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs.
