Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with the physically demanding aspects of the role, including repetitive lifting of large/heavy objects, and use of shop tools and equipment. The candidate must be comfortable with a loud work environment, working outdoors in all weather, and willing to use pneumatic saws, drill presses, and other cutting equipment. They will play a crucial role in customer service, workplace productivity, moving materials in and out of our warehouse, and ensuring accurate inventory integrity. This position requires a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes, as well as proficiency in customer service and warehouse tasks. Duties Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and inspecting for damage. Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling them accurately. Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload products safely. Maintain accurate records of inventory movement using in-house processes. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory counts. Maintain warehouse in-stock position to maximize efficiency of fabrication work. Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating equipment within the warehouse environment. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety. Experience Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred, particularly within an e-commerce environment. Proficiency in operating forklifts and reach trucks; certification preferred. Strong basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order processing. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Active driver's license preferred.
