Pay: Based on Experience NOW HIRING! Warehouse Worker – Printing Ink Manufacturing Company: J.M. Fry Inks Location: Atlanta, Georgia Job Type: Full-Time Join Our Team! J.M. Fry Inks is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our printing ink manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves ink blending, packaging, material handling, and daily warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Ink Blending: Responsible for blending and mixing printing inks according to established formulas, production requirements, and safety procedures. Ink Packaging: Package finished printing ink into appropriate containers, ensuring accuracy and quality. Labeling: Properly label ink containers with accurate product information and identification. Order Picking: Pick, prepare, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently. Palletizing: Stack, organize, wrap, and secure finished products on pallets for storage or shipment. Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and organize raw materials and finished products. Shipping & Receiving: Assist with loading and unloading trucks and receiving incoming materials. Material Handling: Transport raw materials and supplies to designated production and warehouse areas. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and accurate material tracking. Quality Control: Inspect packaged products for proper labeling, packaging integrity, and accuracy. Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures. Perform additional warehouse and production-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous forklift operating experience is REQUIRED. Ability to safely operate forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Previous warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to follow ink blending instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Basic math skills and ability to accurately measure materials. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to complete company-required forklift evaluations and safety training. Ability to properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Preferred Experience Printing ink, paint, coatings, or chemical manufacturing experience. Experience blending, mixing, or packaging industrial products. Previous shipping, receiving, and inventory experience. Familiarity with manufacturing safety procedures and material handling.
