Warehouse Worker / Moving & Storage Associate

Nationwide Moving Company with a warehouse branch in Birmingham rebuilding and strengthening our moving and storage operations. Job Responsibilities Load and unload household goods from 26-foot box trucks and 53-foot moving trailers. Move furniture, boxes, appliances, and household items safely using furniture dollies, appliance dollies, and hand trucks. Carefully handle, wrap, and protect customer belongings. Organize household goods into assigned warehouse storage locations. Assist with palletizing, labeling, and documenting stored shipments. Help prepare customer shipments for outgoing deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory and report missing or damaged items immediately. Keep warehouse aisles, loading areas, and workspaces clean and organized. Follow proper lifting techniques and workplace safety procedures. Work cooperatively with drivers, foremen, and other warehouse employees. Requirements Previous warehouse, moving, delivery, or loading experience preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. Comfortable with repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving household goods. Dependable transportation and reliable attendance. Willingness to follow instructions and learn proper moving and storage procedures. Strong attention to detail and respect for customers' property. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Professional attitude and good work ethic. Willingness to complete applicable pre-employment screening. Compensation & Opportunities Hourly compensation based on experience. Weekly payroll.
