Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator

Overview We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse distribution and order fulfillment. This hands-on role involves moving, storing, and picking products while maintaining an organized, safe work area. Applicants should be comfortable with physical work, including heavy lifting, and able to follow safety procedures. Forklift or clamp truck experience is an asset; training may be provided based on experience. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move, load, unload, and store materials safely. Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment, checking items and quantities for accuracy. Receive, inspect, and put away incoming products; report damaged or missing items. Use a warehouse management system to record inventory movements and update order information. Maintain accurate inventory locations and help with cycle counts. Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns. Keep aisles, storage areas, and workstations clean and organized. Follow warehouse procedures and safety requirements, including proper lifting techniques. Skills Experience in warehouse distribution , shipping, receiving, or inventory handling is preferred. Forklift experience is preferred; familiarity with a clamp truck or order picker is a plus. Ability to safely perform order picking and operate material-handling equipment. Basic mechanical knowledge for recognizing equipment issues and completing routine checks. Basic math skills for verifying quantities, counts, and order details. Ability to use or learn a warehouse management system . Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safe work practices.
