Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential for efficient warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks, along with a solid understanding of warehouse management systems and safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on shipping and receiving operations, requiring mechanical knowledge and adherence to OSHA standards. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse Load and unload shipments efficiently while maintaining safety standards Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing goods Conduct heavy lifting as needed for materials handling tasks Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies during all operations Support warehouse supervision in daily tasks and operational improvements Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues when necessary Experience Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially in distribution or shipping & receiving roles Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks , and order pickers is highly desirable Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a plus Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations Mechanical aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment Experience with materials handling, heavy lifting, and construction environments is beneficial Prior supervisory experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not required This role requires a dedicated individual capable of working safely with heavy equipment while ensuring timely order fulfillment. Candidates should be comfortable with physical labor, possess mechanical skills, and adhere strictly to safety regulations.
