Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator

Responsibilities: Stocking items within the warehouse in an orderly and accessible fashion Restocking inventory Receiving and verifying shipments Shop & warehouse maintenance Completing the inventory counts as requested by the Inventory Controller Basic vehicle maintenance Communicating with the Inventory Controller or Warehouse Lead on any discrepancies with orders and with equipment/material that needs to be ordered Preparing orders Pick-up and delivery of parts from suppliers and as well as travel to job sites Qualifications Include: Previous shipping, receiving and inventory experience is an asset, though we will train the right person Demonstrated ability to successfully organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while keeping a strong attention to detail Forklift experience (will train) and a Valid Driver’s License are a must Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds as this is a labour intensive role- we would love for you to be physically fit and ready for the challenge! Previous Welding experience would be helpful, but isn’t required Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles (i.e. oil check, tire pressure, dead batteries, etc.) will be a helpful skill in the role Ability to use basic computer functions as well as Microsoft programs Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: Edmonton, AB T6E 4W8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person
