• Perform material handling tasks, including moving, staging, and organizing products in designated areas.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by helping to load outbound shipments and unload inbound deliveries.
• Pack, label, and package products according to instructions to prepare them for shipping or storage.
• Use RF scanners to scan, track, and verify products and inventory as part of daily operations.
• Assist with basic inventory tasks such as counting, organizing, and maintaining accurate stock placement.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while performing heavy lifting and general labor tasks.
• Work collaboratively with forklift operators and other team members to maintain an efficient and organized warehouse flow.
Essential Skills
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Experience with material handling, including loading, unloading, and palletizing products.
• Familiarity with general labor tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to use RF scanners for tracking and verifying products and inventory.
• Attention to detail when packing, labeling, and organizing products.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience working in a crossdock or high-volume warehouse environment.
• Background in packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.
• Experience assisting forklift operators by staging and organizing pallets.
• Comfort working with inventory processes, including basic counting and stock organization.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain productivity in a fast-paced setting.

Work Environment
This role is based in a crossdock warehouse where trailers arrive and depart frequently and must be loaded, unloaded, and staged efficiently. The environment is active and fast-paced, with constant movement of products and materials. You will work indoors in a warehouse setting and regularly use equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners while coordinating with forklift operators. Available shifts include Monday to Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Monday to Friday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The position involves regular heavy lifting and general labor tasks, so you should be comfortable working on your feet and handling physical work throughout your shift.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
