Dock / Warehouse Worker – Nationwide Disaster Relief Deployment Job Type: Temporary Location: Nationwide travel assignments Work Location: On the road Recruiting Atlanta-area candidates for nationwide deployment. Travel is required; this posting does not represent a confirmed Atlanta work assignment. Strategic Partner Solutions (SPS) is recruiting dependable dock and warehouse workers ready to travel nationwide and mobilize on short notice for disaster-response logistics assignments. Help receive, sort, organize, and move disaster-relief supplies at staging yards and cross-dock locations. CURRENT RESPONSE PREPARATION SPS is building its roster for potential storm-response deployments, including possible assignments in coastal Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. Deployment depends on activation and selection. Work locations and reporting dates will be confirmed before you accept an assignment. Candidates must remain available for nationwide travel. PAY & SCHEDULE Pay depends on assignment and location and will be confirmed before you accept an assignment. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the assigned hourly rate after 40 hours in a workweek. Planned 12-hour day and night shifts. Each employee will be assigned to one shift. Work may be scheduled up to 7 days a week. Longer assignments may transition to 8-hour shifts. Must be available for extended hours, nights, weekends, and assignments lasting several weeks. Final schedule and expected assignment duration will be confirmed before acceptance. RESPONSIBILITIES Help load and unload disaster-relief supplies. Sort, count, and organize materials in designated areas. Build and wrap pallets as directed. Report damaged materials, quantity discrepancies, and safety concerns. Keep work areas clean and walkways clear. Follow site instructions and coordinate with forklift operators and shipping/receiving personnel. Operate equipment only after required training, evaluation, and authorization. REQUIREMENTS Warehouse, dock, loading/unloading, material-handling, or comparable physical work experience preferred. Ability to perform physical material-handling duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and stay organized in a busy environment. Ready to travel nationwide on short notice. Reliable transportation and dependable phone communication. Willingness to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions. Complete required background screening, drug testing, and onboarding. Forklift certification is not required for this position.
