Warehouse Worker/ Data Entry

Job Summary We are seeking a hard-working, motivated warehouse worker to join our team. This is not your typical warehouse job. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys a hands-on approach and has the ability to troubleshoot. The ideal candidate will also be proficient with electronics and is able to test and pair items accordingly to see if they are functional. Job Type / Category Load and unload trucks Responsible for quality control of incoming merchandise, focusing on large & oversized items & electronics Responsible for checking items to ensure they are complete and in working order Clean & set-up household appliances, furniture, etc. in our showroom Provide general housekeeping duties of warehouse, including sweeping of warehouse floor, and maintaining a clean & organized workspace Keep warehouse clean & organized Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be physically fit, able to stand, bend, lift, pivot, sit, etc. for extended periods of time Proficient in Microsoft Excel Must have excellent communication skills Must have a very strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently and competently Strong organization skills Ability to take direction and work independently Ability to be cross-trained in other areas an asset Forklift license an asset Use Excel to enter items into manifest, and take photographs much as you would on FB Marketplace, e-bay, Kijiji, Karrot, etc. Must not have a criminal record and be bondable.
