Warehouse Worker/Convention Staff

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker/Convention Staff to join our team. This role involves managing inventory, handling manual labor, and assisting with convention-related activities. The ideal candidate will be professional, able to work under stressful conditions, and comfortable traveling to various conventions. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations both in the warehouse and at events, providing excellent customer service and supporting sales efforts. Responsibilities Receiving, accepting, and counting product shipments accurately Sending out orders and organizing inventory Performing manual handling tasks, including moving and lifting up to 75 pounds Assisting with the setup and breakdown of convention booths or displays Traveling to conventions as required, representing the company professionally Selling products directly to customers at conventions Driving company vehicles safely and responsibly during travel Maintaining attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy and quality Working well with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently Providing excellent customer service during interactions with clients and attendees Skills Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing Strong manual handling capabilities for lifting and moving products or equipment Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in counting, packing, and customer interactions Ability to work under stressful conditions for extended periods Excellent communication skills for working with customers and team members Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for representing the company at conventions Willingness to travel frequently on weekends as part of the job responsibilities The position we are looking for starts out as a Warehouse Employee at $14 per hour for a minimum of 20 hours a week. We do have the option to work more hours than that. There will also be opportunities for promotion based on performance. The business is currently growing and our employees with it. Our Warehouse is located on the west side of San Antonio past 1604 off Potranco Rd. As a warehouse employee you would be handling our product for intake, inventory, packing for customer orders, and loading product for Con stock. We have a small team to work with here. You would be required to regularly lift 55lbs and for a few hours a week we do short work outside to load product bins into our road vans. We are also looking to promote from the inside an employee to be our Inventory Manager which would come with additional pay up from starting. This would consist of driving our vans to conventions and selling in person to customers. Average traveling time is 5 days, it ranges from 3 days for local shows to 2 weeks on the road a few times a year. We do shows all across the country and some local shows. Examples of Cons we sell at; Big Texas Comic Con, Fan Expo Denver, Emerald City Comic Con, New York Comic Con, MegaCon Orlando, C2E2 etc. Our current employees in this role average about $45,000-$60,000 a year.
