Duties Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and cranes to load, unload, stock, and move materials safely and efficiently Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate order fulfillment Assist in shipping and receiving activities by preparing packages, verifying shipments against orders, and maintaining proper documentation using systems like AS400 Conduct manual handling of materials with proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA safety regulations and safety protocols at all times Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of batteries and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance; replace or repair batteries as needed while following safety procedures Support warehouse distribution processes by picking, packing, loading, and unloading products for timely order fulfillment Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stocking supplies, managing materials handling equipment operation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards Experience Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts (including forklift certification), cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and cranes Prior warehouse experience with inventory management systems (preferably WMS or AS400) and familiarity with logistics operations including shipping & receiving and order picking Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic troubleshooting skills for batteries and machinery Experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership roles is a plus; familiarity with warehouse management best practices is highly desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safety regulations; basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements are essential Knowledge of OSHA standards, safety protocol adherence, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment Technical proficiency in operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently; experience with inventory control software is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real impact!
