• Communicate promptly with the warehouse team and sales staff regarding shortages, damages, and missing documents.
• Label merchandise with appropriate codes and part descriptions to ensure clear identification and traceability.
• Use and learn ILS catalogues (Inventory Locator Services) to locate, track, and manage inventory.
• Put away all products in the correct locations, maintaining strong organization throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area at all times.
• Follow all safety regulations and standards, exercising diligence when handling expensive equipment and aircraft parts.
• Perform security and loss prevention procedures to protect inventory and equipment.
• Handle materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Inspect parts for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues and report findings appropriately.
Essential Skills
• Minimum of 12 years of warehouse experience.
• Experience operating forklifts, including sit-down or reach truck models.
• Material handling experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to inspect parts for damage, accuracy, and quality.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep inventory and work areas orderly.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated, enthusiastic approach with a desire to grow within the position.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with capability to occasionally handle heavier aircraft parts up to approximately 75100 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends as needed.
• Commitment to following safety regulations, security procedures, and company standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience using ILS catalogues (Inventory Locator Services) or similar inventory management tools.
• Comfort working around expensive and sensitive equipment with a high level of care and attention.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with warehouse staff and sales teams.
• Attention to detail when labeling, documenting, and storing parts.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean, organized warehouse environment designed for efficient and safe handling of aircraft parts. You work a first-shift schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with weekend work as needed. The facility emphasizes strong safety practices and loss prevention, and you may use forklifts such as sit-down or reach trucks, along with ILS catalogues (Inventory Locator Services) and standard material-handling equipment. The atmosphere supports focus, attention to detail, and teamwork while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Wheeling, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
