Warehouse Worker Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team and assist with daily warehouse activities. This position involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a team environment. Key Responsibilities Select, pack, label, and organize products for accurate and timely order fulfillment. Receive incoming shipments, inspect merchandise, and verify quantities against shipping documents. Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely. Maintain organized storage areas and assist with stocking and replenishing inventory. Use RF scanners and warehouse management software to track inventory and update shipment records. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order-picking equipment when properly trained and authorized. Record inventory movements using data-entry tools, ERP, MRP, or AS400 systems when applicable. Follow established shipping procedures, applicable trade regulations, and workplace safety guidelines. Assist with routine order inquiries and communicate shipment discrepancies to supervisors. Qualifications & Skills Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, or order fulfillment experience is preferred. Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, stocking, and distribution processes. Basic computer, data-entry, and mathematical skills. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, RF scanners, and inventory tracking software is an advantage. Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP, MRP, or AS400 systems is beneficial. Forklift, pallet jack, or order picker experience is preferred; proper training and authorization are required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work independently or collaboratively.
