Warehouse Associate Galveston County Food Bank – Texas City, TX Full-time | Hourly | Non-Exempt We’re looking for a reliable, energetic Monday through Friday (7:30am to 4pm) team player to help keep our warehouse and on-site pantry running smoothly! The Warehouse Associate assists with receiving and organizing food donations, pulling and loading orders, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient facility. What You’ll Do Receive, record, and store incoming donations and supplies Load/unload trucks and move products using pallet jacks and forklifts Rotate stock (FIFO), especially produce, dairy, and bakery items Keep warehouse, coolers, and freezers clean and organized Dispose of expired products and assist with set-up/take-down for events Follow food safety and warehouse standards (AIB, USDA, Feeding America) What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Forklift and prior warehouse or inventory experience preferred Able to lift 50 lbs. and work in hot, cold, or outdoor environments Detail-oriented, safety-minded, and team-focused Friendly and professional with staff, volunteers, and donors Pass random drug testing and background checks Why Join Us Help feed neighbors in need while working with a supportive, mission-driven team.
