Duties Receive, unload, and load shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring safe handling of goods. Perform order picking, packing, and staging to prepare items for shipment according to specifications. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, and inventory management software to track stock levels and update records accurately. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies using data entry skills and basic math to maintain stock accuracy. Assist with shipping & receiving activities, verifying shipment details against purchase orders and shipping documents. Support order fulfillment processes by selecting products efficiently and ensuring proper packaging for international trade regulations and trade compliance. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Collaborate with team members on warehouse operations, logistics planning, and customer service tasks to optimize workflow. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations including order picking & packing, stocking, load & unload procedures. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRPs. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry accuracy. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks; certification is a plus but not required. Knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and packaging requirements is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure efficient warehouse distribution processes.
