TORREY [An Aeritek Company]Tor-Rey Refrigeration is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Inventory & Warehouse Support Specialist to support daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, parts organization, and warehouse cleanliness. This position is designed to provide focused operational support to the Warehouse Lead by maintaining accurate inventory records, completing routine cycle counts, organizing parts and product locations, identifying discrepancies, and helping ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe, and organized. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, following established procedures, handling repetitive inventory tasks accurately, and promptly communicating discrepancies or concerns. This role reports to the Warehouse Lead and works closely with Customer Service, Warranty, and Operations when inventory or parts information is needed. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Control & Cycle Counting Complete scheduled daily and weekly cycle counts of warehouse inventory. Compare physical inventory counts against Sage or other company inventory records. Document inventory discrepancies accurately and report variances to the Warehouse Lead. Assist with recounts and discrepancy investigations when physical inventory does not match system records. Support periodic full warehouse inventory counts. Maintain accurate count sheets and required inventory documentation. Help identify recurring inventory issues, misplaced products, or incorrect product locations. Parts Organization & Inventory Support Maintain organized storage of replacement parts and small inventory items. Label, sort, and place incoming parts in designated warehouse locations. Assist Warranty staff with locating parts needed for RMAs, repairs, or troubleshooting. Help maintain accurate parts quantities and identify low-stock or missing items. Ensure parts removed from inventory are properly documented according to company procedures. Maintain clearly identified and accessible parts storage areas. Warehouse Organization & Product Placement Maintain designated inventory locations and assist with proper product placement. Help ensure pallets, products, and parts are stored in their assigned warehouse locations. Assist with stock rotation and warehouse organization as directed by the Warehouse Lead. Identify misplaced, damaged, unlabeled, or improperly stored inventory. Support organization of receiving, shipping, RMA, parts, and staging areas. Warehouse Cleaning & Safety Maintain general cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse. Remove trash, loose shrink wrap, packaging materials, empty boxes, and other debris from work areas. Keep aisles, loading areas, exits, and warehouse traffic paths clear. Ensure floor-level inventory and pallets are maintained safely and orderly. Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, unstable pallets, or other concerns immediately. Assist with routine warehouse housekeeping throughout each shift, rather than letting cleaning needs accumulate. Receiving & Inventory Verification Support Assist with receiving manufacturer shipments when needed. Verify product quantities and identifying information against receiving documents. Help identify shortages, damages, incorrect items, or mixed inventory during receiving. Assist with labeling and placing received inventory in designated locations. Follow established receiving and inventory-control procedures rather than relying on assumptions or visual estimates. Documentation & Communication Maintain accurate records of completed cycle counts, inventory discrepancies, parts activity, and assigned warehouse tasks. Communicate unresolved inventory issues to the Warehouse Lead promptly. Provide clear status updates regarding incomplete counts, missing inventory, parts shortages, or warehouse concerns.
