Pacific Party Canopies is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to prepare will-call orders, load delivery trucks, and keep our rental equipment clean, safe, and ready for events. Attention to detail and excellent customer service are essential in this role. What you’ll do: - Pull and prepare will-call orders, checking quantities, equipment condition, and order accuracy before customer pickup. - Greet customers with a friendly, professional attitude and assist with pickups, returns, and loading. - Explain basic equipment use and care clearly, seeking help when needed. - Inspect all equipment you handle for cleanliness, damage, missing parts, and proper operation. Flag issues and separate equipment that needs attention before it goes out. - Learn our rental inventory, including how to identify, handle, clean, and load equipment correctly. - Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently, following loading plans, proper lifting practices, and load-securement procedures. - Clean and wipe down rental equipment thoroughly so it is ready for the next customer. - Clean inflatables, BBQs, and other rental items according to established procedures. - Learn to operate a floor buffer and use cleaning products safely, following training and product instructions. - Perform minor repairs and routine equipment maintenance within your training; report larger repair needs. - Keep will-call staging areas, equipment storage, and workspaces clean and organized. Who we’re looking for: - Someone with strong attention to detail who notices dirt, damage, missing pieces, and incorrect counts—and takes action. -FORKLIFT EXP IS A MUST - A friendly, patient team member who makes customers feel welcome and cared for. - A dependable worker who follows directions, completes tasks thoroughly, and asks questions when unsure. - Someone willing to learn our full range of rental equipment and take pride in its condition. - A safety-minded person who works efficiently without rushing or cutting corners. - Someone comfortable with active, hands-on work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working around trucks and equipment, with reasonable accommodation as needed. - A team player who looks for the next task and offers help where needed.
