Role and Responsibilities:
Under supervision, Warehouse Unloaders handle the efficient unloading of freight from trucks or trailers. The role requires high-energy, physical labor to move materials safely, accurately, and quickly while maintaining a productive and safe warehouse environment.
• Unload freight manually or using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Move, sort, and stage materials to designated areas within the warehouse.
• Verify received items against shipping documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned by site leadership.
• Report issues, delays, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills and Experience:
• High-energy and strong work ethic, capable of sustaining fast-paced, physical labor.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills to address routine challenges.
• Ability to lift and carry 25–75 pounds repeatedly throughout shifts.
• Awareness of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred but not required; training is provided.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules based on operational needs.
