Warehouse/ Truck Jockey

Job Summary Join our dynamic logistics team as a Warehouse/Truck Jockey, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. This energetic position involves operating heavy equipment, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment, contributing directly to our commitment to timely order fulfillment and outstanding service. This job is a hybrid position that will require you to be an order picker, fork lift operator, and jockey tractor trailers on private property . Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely throughout the warehouse. Assist with inventory management by conducting stock counts, updating warehouse management systems (WMS), and maintaining accurate inventory control. Support order picking and packing processes using RF scanners and other warehouse management tools to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards. Perform heavy lifting tasks and materials handling to support manufacturing or construction-related activities when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines and mechanical knowledge requirements for heavy equipment operation. Ability to operate and move tractor trailers around the private property. Backing up to loading docks and repositioning the tractor trailers as needed. Qualifications Current or previous Class A CDL driving experience Fork Lift and electric pallet jack experience Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods while maintaining safety awareness. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order fulfillment processes.
