Assist the Supervisor by performing daily floor activities for moving material and responding to production demands. Passion for innovative solutions and process improvement Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Communicate effectively and efficiently in a timely manner Desire to be a leader of a team and be an example for other team members. Position Summary: To provide instruction and training to New Hires and all assigned associates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for training and developing New Hires assigned to their department. Review all Work Instructions applicable to your department with New Employees. Make sure employees are competent at their Job Task by completing a Competency Evaluation. Ensure employees are in compliance with Company HR and Safety Policies. Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times. If assigned to train employees on Powered Industrial Trucks, must meet OSHA Standards outlined in section 1910.178. Responsible for compliance with warehouse housekeeping and 5S procedures at all times while in the facility. Adhere to the NLGA Code of Ethics and Business Conduct at all times. Acts as a representative of NOTS Logistics and TNA at all times while on duty. Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support business needs Conduct audits in Repack and Order Fulfillment when New Hire Training isn't taking place NOTS Logistics offers a career opportunity, with family values, and further advancement.
