What You’ll Do:

 

We are seeking qualified candidates who are independent, organized with excellent time management skills to provide materials, equipment, and supplies by direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution services.

  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, or project returns.
  • Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or defects and report findings to the appropriate department.
  • Process RMAs and Return-to-Vendor items as needed.
    • Accurately store, label, and organize materials, equipment, and supplies.
    • Maintain inventory records in FieldPoint and/or GP, ensuring accuracy through cycle counts and full audits.
    • Track and update data systems while supporting equipment/tool testing and calibration.
    • Control inventory levels by reconciling physical counts with system data.
    • Pick, pack, and verify materials and supplies against pick tickets.
    • Ensure accuracy and quality control before shipping or releasing items.
    • Prepare items for shipment in accordance with work orders and customer requirements.
    • Prepare shipping documents, labels, and pick tickets.
    • Coordinate with carriers or drivers for outgoing shipments.
    • Operate dollies and pallet jacks for loading and unloading.
    • Pick up orders from local will-call and deliver to offices or jobsites as needed.
    • Work closely with supervisors, logistics teams, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
    • Provide status updates on inventory, shipments, delays, or issues.

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • Familiarity with warehousing concepts, practices and procedures is required 
  • Experience with Great Plains is a plus
  • Effective communication/interpersonal skills
  • Strong safety management skills
  • Results oriented team player
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required, with an associate degree preferred
  • 2+ years of warehouse and logistics experience, preferably in the professional services industry
  • Proficient Microsoft Word and Excel

 

Physical Demands:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

 

Work Environment:

 

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, as normally based in an office. The position will also require usage of stairs and elevators.
