Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics and distribution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. This role requires technical proficiency with various warehouse equipment and adherence to safety regulations to maintain a safe and productive environment. This is an entry level position with the ability to grow into a full field service technician. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting and cycle counts Assist in order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes to ensure timely shipment of products Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments Conduct materials handling tasks with manual handling techniques while following safety protocols and OSHA standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety regulations and PPE use Support warehouse operations by stocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and ensuring proper storage of materials Assist other departments when needed Follow safety procedures consistently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is a plus. Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment including forklift, reach truck, cherry picker, crane, pallet jack, and order picker Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials manually when required. Must be able to lift 55lbs regularly. Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing Familiarity with safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a changing fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in heavy equipment operation Mechanical and construction experience and skills are a plus.
