Description

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for accurately managing the daily flow of materials, order fulfillment, and packaging activities to ensure products are prepared and shipped according to company standards. This position supports the efficiency and organization of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, and on-time shipment of customer orders, while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee the daily shipping schedule to ensure timely and   accurate order fulfillment.

· Verify and approve incoming and outgoing shipments,   ensuring quantities, labeling, and documentation are accurate.

· Ensure completed orders meet company quality and   packaging standards prior to shipment.

· Accurately record and maintain shipping, receiving, and   inventory documentation.

· Collaborate with team members to identify and implement   process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

· Read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) to confirm   the correct materials and packaging requirements for each order.

· Label products and packages accurately for   identification and traceability.

· Identify and report defects or deviations found during   assembly or packaging processes.

· Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts for loading,   unloading, and movement of materials and inventory.

· Support On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals by coordinating   with Customer Experience and Production teams to prioritize shipments.

· Motivate and foster teamwork within the shipping and   receiving team to meet productivity and quality objectives.

· Receive incoming goods, verify counts and quality, and   promptly report discrepancies to the supervisor or purchasing team.

· Verify, record, and document all outgoing shipments,   including preparation of bills of lading and shipping documents.

· Maintain accurate databases and records for shipment   data, goods returns, and returnable pallets.

· Notify supervisor of major discrepancies,   over-shipments, or substitutions.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment   in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

· Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration   across departments to ensure efficient operations.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Proficiency with   Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS / PRIOR EXPERIENCE:

 

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse   environment preferred.

· Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other   material-handling equipment required.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or ERP or inventory   management software preferred.

· An equivalent combination of education, training, and related   experience may be considered.

  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

 

  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, and maneuver in warehouse and shipping environments.
  • Ability to work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
