Warehouse Team Member (Part-time)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle packages of varying sizes. The Delivery Driver will also assist with warehouse operations, including inventory control and loading/unloading shipments. Starting Pay: $18.50 Schedule: Monday through Friday / Hours 3:00 am -9:00 am (Part-time) REQUIREMENTS Clean Background Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen High school diploma or equivalent – Required One year warehouse experience and knowledge – Preferred DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift, pallet jack or manually per WPL guidelines. Use various loading techniques, such as loading or cross docking Hand load, rewrap or stack freight as necessary Secure freight inside trucks, trailers, and warehouse staging Safely operate delivery vehicles, including 16’ and 26’ box trucks. Load and unload packages using a pallet jack and other equipment. Perform heavy lifting (50+ pounds) as required to ensure timely deliveries. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers. Identifies and sorts different types of incoming freight and knowledge of proper locations Ensure a safe productive work environment and housekeeping upkeep Utilize our software to consistently review daily routes and monitor freight locations throughout the warehouse Deliveries as needed via company box truck Alert team members and customer service to any special delivery requirements Frequent contact with Customer Service personnel; fast-pace and deadline oriented Inventory of inbound freight- verify staging location color and write legibly the consignee’s name, inbound date, and piece count Maintains positive customer/team relationships and always maintains exceptional courteous attitude Responsible for observing and following all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases Please note this ad is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
