In this energetic role, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient movement, storage, and management of inventory within our facility. Your proactive approach and attention to safety will ensure smooth warehouse functions, from order fulfillment to shipping and receiving. Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, crane systems, and order pickers to load, unload, move, and organize materials safely and efficiently. Assist with inventory management by conducting stock counts, updating inventory management software (such as AS400 or warehouse management systems), and ensuring accurate record keeping. Support order picking and packing processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. Handle materials manually when required, adhering to manual handling safety protocols and OSHA standards for heavy lifting. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and ensuring safety regulations are followed at all times. Participate in shipping & receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders against shipping documents, and ensuring proper packaging. Follow safety procedures diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to safety regulations, and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly. Experience Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or cranes with valid certification is a plus. Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., AS400) or warehouse management systems is advantageous. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards for manual handling and heavy equipment operation is essential. Strong mechanical aptitude or technical proficiency related to warehouse machinery is beneficial. Experience working under safety protocol adherence in fast-paced environments demonstrates reliability and attention to detail.
