Warehouse Team Member

Job Description Warehouse Team Member: We are a wholesale flower company looking for a warehouse worker. No experience is necessary - we will train! This is a Seasonal position. Hours / Days: Typically works 30-40 hours per week; Rotating schedule includes weekend work 4:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. shift end time may vary with business needs. Must be able to work on Sunday as needed and during the busy holiday seasons. Pay Range: $18.42-$19.50 Position Summary: Performs duties for the warehouse shipping and receiving department under the general supervision of the Warehouse Manager and Location Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain Lean/Flow practices and procedures. Help load and offload transportation carts both manually and with a forklift. Check deliveries and ensure accuracy. Maintain a clean warehouse environment. Prepare items for transport. Coordinate with manager shortages or errors on orders. Help complete warehouse tasks in a timely manner. Conduct other duties as assigned. Essential Functions / Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position. Good communication skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. Operate warehouse machines and equipment. Able to work in a team environment. Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 75 lbs. on occasion. Able to withstand moderate changes in temperatures. Able to climb stairs and walk on uneven ground. Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
