Warehouse Team Lead/ Supervisor
Moran LogisticsMoran Logistics , a family-owned and operated third-party logistics (3PL) company, is expanding and looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Team Lead to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can lead by example while overseeing daily warehouse operations, developing employees, and ensuring a safe, productive, and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, materials handling, and order fulfillment. Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate warehouse employees to maximize productivity and performance. Train and support new hires, ensuring they have the tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to succeed. Assign work, delegate responsibilities, identify staffing and resource requirements, and support account operations. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory audits. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking, reporting, and operational efficiency. Load and unload trailers and assist with stocking, picking, staging, and other warehouse duties as needed. Safely operate forklifts and reach trucks as part of daily warehouse operations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to increase efficiency and productivity. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and warehouse best practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Communicate effectively with team members, management, vendors, customers, and other business partners. Help resolve operational issues and use sound judgment to prioritize tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Previous warehouse supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience required. Experience in warehouse shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling. Proven ability to coach, train, motivate, and lead a team. Experience operating forklifts and reach trucks. Strong organizational, time-management, delegation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred. Ability to identify operational improvements and implement effective solutions. Ability to reach, push, pull, lift heavy objects, and perform physical warehouse duties.
