Warehouse Team Lead

Job Responsibilities: Stock inventory and make sure they are in correct location Maintain all warehouse functions to ensure proper procedures are being followed Trouble shooting and research analysis of warehouse inventory issues Keep inventory levels accurate by doing random Cycle Counts Perform Physical Inventory on a Quarterly/Yearly Basis Make sure parts that are received by WHS 03 are placed in correct Bin Locations Qualification Requirements: Must be able to navigate Avante’ efficiently Must have nominal Excel experience Must be able to follow procedures and ensure team members are preforming their jobs accurately and efficiently. Have knowledge of all warehouse operations (Receiving, Picking, Cycle Counts, Physical Inventory) Knowledge of warehouse-based systems and how to use them to improve warehouse operations Previous leadership skills preferred along with the ability to lead a group effectively Employee must: Possess a warehousing mentality Possess knowledge of purchase orders regarding receipt by matching parts with PO Follow procedure Work to improve their area Create and maintain a filing system Create reports such as receiving defects, shipping damage, inspection, etc.… Work in a fast-paced environment with or without interruptions. 5S continuous improvement through daily audits Education & Work Experience : Minimum education level required, however G.E.D. preferred. Previous warehouse/stock room experience. Must be able to understand instructions. Environmental and Working Conditions: Will be required to work inside and outside, regardless of weather conditions. A normal duty requires climbing, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching, turning, and twisting. Moderate to heavy lifting (50 to 100 lbs.), with or without accommodation, is required.
