About the Role We are seeking a dependable and handson Warehouse Team Lead to support daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for leading warehouse associates during inbound receiving, freight handling, cross-dock operations, and daily workflow. The Team Lead works closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate warehouse operations. Responsibilities -Lead and support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, unloading, sorting, staging, and cross-dock activities. -Assign daily tasks and monitor the productivity of warehouse associates. -Ensure inbound freight is processed accurately and efficiently. -Coordinate trailer loading and unloading activities. -Inspect freight for shortages or damages and report issues promptly. -Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness. -Ensure employees follow company procedures and safety standards. -Train new warehouse associates and provide day-to-day guidance. -Communicate with drivers and dispatch regarding shipment status. -Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operational needs and process improvements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of warehouse experience. Previous experience as a Team Lead or in a leadership role preferred. Forklift experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment. Good communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills. Strong work ethic and leadership potential.
