Warehouse Team Lead
C-StoreMasterJob Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a dynamic team. In this role, you will supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in picking and packaging products and materials for storage or shipment: Study production order to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements coordinate distribution activities, ensure inventory accuracy, and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency. Your leadership will drive safety, productivity, and quality standards across all warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and inventory management. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate warehouse staff by providing clear direction, coaching, and managerial communication to foster a high-performance team. Assists with hiring and training of team members. Oversee the daily workflow; oversee scheduling and assignments of the assigned team. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Monitor the quality of products and ensure items are packed securely to prevent damage during transit. Optimize workflows and guide staff on best practices, such as route planning and efficient storage, to reduce errors and speed up fulfillment. Ensure the team is proficient in using warehouse management technology, including handheld scanners and other equipment, for accuracy and inventory management. Coordinate with inventory management processes to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation. Strong communication skills for managing teams effectively and coordinating with internal departments or external partners. Required Skills/Abilities : Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels. Proficient in using MS Office and manufacturing systems. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Education and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred. At least two years of related work experience required. Physical Requirements : Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
