Warehouse Systems & Support Manager

The Warehouse Systems & Support Manager is responsible for leading the department that provides warehouse systems support, operational improvement, data analysis, and employee development programs. This position ensures effective support for SAP, LFS, and related warehouse systems while identifying opportunities to improve transaction accuracy, material traceability, and operational efficiency. The Manager oversees department performance, employee development, improvement initiatives, and structured retraining programs. The role works closely with Warehouse Operations, Inventory Control, Process Engineering, IT, Corporate Training, and Production to support consistent and reliable warehouse operations. Required Experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing logistics, inventory control, or warehouse systems support. Working knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory transactions, and material flow. Demonstrated leadership ability, including employee coordination, accountability, and problem-solving. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments. Experience using operational data to identify and implement improvements. Preferred Experience with SAP, LFS, or comparable warehouse management systems. Previous supervisory, team leadership, or management experience. Experience with continuous improvement projects and employee training programs. Familiarity with manufacturing material flow and inventory accuracy. Relevant degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Leadership Expectations The Warehouse Systems & Support Manager is expected to develop a reliable, accountable department that provides consistent operational support while preventing recurring problems. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, employee development, sound decision-making, and the ability to deliver measurable improvements while balancing daily operational needs with longer-term department objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Department Leadership and Management Lead department operations, establish priorities, and maintain clear performance expectations and accountability. Supervise the Warehouse Systems Lead, Systems & Data Analysts, and Operations Support Specialists, while ensuring effective oversight of the Process Improvement Specialists through the Systems Lead. Manage staffing, scheduling, workload distribution, and support coverage across buildings and shifts. Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and develop employees through training and leadership opportunities. Identify resource needs, address performance concerns, and communicate departmental priorities to warehouse leadership. Warehouse Systems Support and Inventory Accuracy Oversee daily SAP/LFS support, ensuring system issues are documented, prioritized, resolved, or escalated appropriately. Identify recurring system problems and coordinate technical resolutions with IT and other responsible departments. Partner with Inventory Control and Warehouse Operations to analyze transaction errors and system-related inventory issues. Coordinate corrective improvements and targeted retraining to reduce recurring errors and improve material traceability. Support system testing, approved changes, and consistent system practices across warehouse operations. Inventory Control retains responsibility for inventory reconciliation, discrepancy investigations, and inventory adjustments. Continuous Improvement and Project Execution Establish priorities for operational improvement initiatives based on business needs and measurable results. Direct the Warehouse Systems Lead in coordinating projects, implementing approved changes, and monitoring progress.
