Warehouse, Supplies, & Installation Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse, Supplies, & Installation Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Coordinate daily shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory activities. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Oversee order fulfillment, including picking, packing, staging, and shipping. Organize warehouse space to maximize efficiency and maintain accurate inventory. Perform regular inventory counts and assist with inventory audits. Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and report repair needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-conscious warehouse environment. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency. Installation and Assembly Assemble, install, and position furniture items according to customer specifications and floor plans Inspect furniture for damage before installation and report any issues immediately Use hand and power tools properly to ensure quality assembly of various furniture pieces Read and interpret furniture assembly instructions, diagrams, and schematics Assist with assembling furniture in the warehouse, ensuring products are ready for delivery Maintain a clean and safe work area during and after installation Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation Document completed installations and obtain customer sign-off on finished work Customer Service Deliver an exceptional customer experience before, during, and after delivery. Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries, installations, and project updates by phone, email, and in person. Verify order accuracy before loading and upon delivery. Respond to customer questions and assist in resolving concerns promptly. Help coordinate scheduling and maintain communication throughout furniture projects. Administrative & Team Support Assist with vendor acknowledgments and vendor communications. Track customer orders, invoices, credits, and backorders. Learn and utilize company software systems to support customer order processing. Prepare delivery paperwork and project documentation. Provide backup support for purchasing, order processing, customer service functions, and delivery of products. Collaborate with warehouse, sales, purchasing, and project management teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time. Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in warehouse operations, furniture installation, delivery, logistics, purchasing, and customer service is preferred. Strong organizational, time management skills, communication, and interpersonal skills. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble furniture using hand and power tools. Ability to lift and move furniture weighing up to 75 pounds, with assistance when appropriate. Comfortable working in an office, warehouse, and at customer locations. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company software and project management systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Forklift experience.
