Warehouse Supervisor / Manager

Role Scope / Overview We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor/Manager with strong familiarity with telecom equipment to lead warehouse operations at our Nashville/Hendersonville location. This hands-on management role oversees receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping of telecom hardware and related materials while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate combines solid warehouse leadership experience with practical knowledge of telecom gear (network equipment, cabling, power systems, serialized assets, etc.) and the ability to manage a small team, drive process improvements, and support field operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and returns/RMA processing of telecom equipment and materials. Manage, train, schedule, and coach warehouse staff; conduct performance feedback and maintain a positive, accountable team culture. Maintain accurate inventory of telecom hardware (including serialized assets) through cycle counts, system updates, and physical audits. Ensure proper handling, identification, and protective packaging of sensitive electronics and telecom equipment. Oversee warehouse safety, cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Coordinate closely with purchasing, operations, and field teams to support order fulfillment and inventory needs. Operate or oversee use of warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) and ensure team members are properly trained/certified. Track key metrics (accuracy, productivity, on-time shipments, inventory variance) and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with equipment staging, returns processing, and special projects as needed. Required Qualifications 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity. Hands-on familiarity with telecom or networking equipment and the ability to properly identify and handle electronics. Proven ability to lead a team, manage daily workflows, and maintain inventory accuracy. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with inventory/shipping systems. Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed and work in a warehouse environment. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a telecom, ISP, networking, or electronics distribution environment. Forklift certification and prior experience training others on equipment. Experience with inventory management software, barcode systems, or ERP tools. Knowledge of basic cable types, fiber handling practices, and serialized asset tracking. Physical & Work Environment Primarily warehouse-based with regular standing, walking, lifting, bending, and occasional ladder use. Exposure to typical warehouse conditions. Some supervisory administrative work required.
