Warehouse Supervisor/Manager

Responsibilities: Duties include the coordination and monitoring of the warehouse operation, Route Drivers, Warehouse Personnel, Reclamation and general administrative matters. The individual will assist and support the needs of the sales team if requested. Functions: Direct and schedule the daily activities of the warehouse. Submit and post warehouse schedule in Paycor for all personnel. Monitor the overtime activity and review the trends. Scheduled walk-thru's to monitor the job functions are being completed. Forecast weekly sales to suppliers. Monitor the fleet repairs and routine preventative maintenance, evaluate major safety problems for immediate action. Monitor warehouse and route breakers. Monitor the service requirements and handling of the forklifts in the warehouse, ie., speed, tires and all safety related issues. Insure all warehouse personnel are trained and certified to operate any and all equipment used in daily functions of their job(s). Monitor and schedule maintenance for the entire building, i.e. lights, plumbing, grounds and preventative maintenance. Perform a weekly physical inventory of the warehouse and oversee any necessary adjustments for Out of Stock items appearing on the sales and inventory report. Requirements: Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. He or she must be 21 years of age. Applicant must have a valid Driver's License. One to Two years related experience. Computer Skills-Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word). Warehouse safety experience. Must be able to multitask and work at a fast pace. CDL, Chauffeur License, fork lift experience helpful but not necessary.
