Job Overview As a Warehouse Supervisor for this popular local retail store, you’ll lead daily warehouse operations, coordinating people, inventory and shipments to support reliable product flow. You’ll oversee warehouse distribution, shipping and receiving, and logistics while promoting safe, efficient work practices. Your impact: By keeping inventory accurate and shipments moving, you help retail teams serve customers with the products they need. Responsibilities Lead and support warehouse teams, assign daily work, and communicate priorities clearly. Oversee inventory control and inventory management systems; use a warehouse management system (WMS) and radio-frequency (RF) scanner to track stock and orders. Coordinate shipping and receiving, e-commerce fulfillment, and distribution center operations. Monitor warehouse operations and material handling equipment, including forklifts; reinforce safe operation and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) practices. Identify process improvement opportunities using Lean management principles, and maintain clear operational records. Qualifications Warehouse experience required; warehouse supervisor experience and team leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of warehouse management, inventory management, warehouse distribution and logistics. Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely; able to handle heavy lifting as required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, inventory management systems, WMS platforms, RF scanners, and shipping and receiving processes. Strong team management and managerial communication skills; experience with retail, e-commerce, or 3PL operations is a plus.
