About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our daily fulfillment operation. You'll work directly with the owner, who has run Magnet Baron for 13 years, with no corporate layers and no committees. Decisions get made in a conversation, not a meeting chain, and the improvements you make show up in the business right away. We expect you to keep the floor running smoothly and help make it better. Finding faster, more accurate, more efficient ways to work is part of the job. This is a working supervisor role. If you like leading from the floor and keeping the whole operation moving, this job is for you. What You'll Do Inventory & Receiving - Watch stock levels on the floor and flag low stock to the owner early, so reorders happen before we run out - Receive inbound freight, verify counts against packing slips, and document vendor discrepancies or damage for follow-up - Run cycle counts and periodic physical inventories, keep system stock levels accurate, and investigate shrink or mis-picks - Manage bin locations and warehouse layout so fast-movers stay close to pack stations New Product Launches - Prepare each new product for launch once stock arrives: assign its storage and pick location, build the kitting and labeling steps, and define how it gets packed so it is ready to sell and ship - Run first-article checks on new arrivals and flag problems to the owner while there is still time to fix them Quality Control - Handle day-to-day quality control on established products: inspect inbound product, catch defects before they ship, and report recurring quality issues to the owner - Process customer returns and RMAs: inspect, restock, or set aside for write-off review Team Leadership - Schedule, train, and lead a small pick/pack/kitting team, and help interview candidates as we grow - Set daily priorities so orders ship on time, and cover any station when someone is out - Help the owner plan for seasonal peaks (staffing, hours, supplies) Shipping & Daily Operations - Pick, pack, and kit orders alongside the team as volume requires - Maintain and troubleshoot warehouse equipment, including label printers, pack stations, scanners, and other gear that keeps orders moving - Track shipping supplies (boxes, mailers, tape, labels) and flag reorders before we run low - Manage carrier pickups, resolve shipping errors, and file lost or damaged package claims - Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse - Suggest and implement process improvements: better workflows, layouts, and systems that raise throughput and accuracy - Report simple weekly numbers to the owner: orders shipped, on-time rate, error rate, inventory accuracy - Other tasks as assigned. At a company our size, everyone pitches in where needed Performance Bonus This role is eligible for performance bonuses tied to on-time shipments and smooth day-to-day operations. When orders go out on time and accurately and the floor runs without avoidable disruptions, you share in the result. What We're Looking For - 2+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year as a lead or supervisor - Experience with receiving, cycle counts, or keeping inventory accurate - A track record of improving processes, not just following them.
