Warehouse Supervisor - Day Shift Oakwood Veneer Company – Troy, Michigan Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Predictable Weekday Schedule 7am to 4:30pm or 8am to 5:30pm Oakwood Veneer Company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at our Troy, Michigan facility. This is an active, working supervisor position for someone who can lead employees, organize workflow, solve problems, and keep warehouse operations running efficiently. Responsibilities include overseeing shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, forklift operations, and employee productivity. The ideal candidate takes ownership, holds people accountable, and is comfortable working alongside the warehouse team when needed. The Warehouse Supervisor will assign daily work, direct and train employees, monitor performance, and address operational issues. You'll coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, picking, packing, loading and unloading, and material handling. You'll also maintain inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, enforce safety procedures, and ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and productive. Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in any industry and 2 years of hands-on warehouse, shipping and receiving, distribution, logistics, or material-handling experience . These requirements can be met through separate jobs. Forklift operating experience and basic computer skills for inventory tracking, data entry, and reporting are required. Forklift certification is preferred. Candidates should be dependable, organized, comfortable making decisions, and able to manage competing priorities while keeping employees and daily operations on track. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
