Check out our many videos to learn more! http://www.dxpe.com/about-us/careers/ Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor Supervise, lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, stocking, and material movement Oversee order picking, packing, processing, and shipment accuracy Coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities Perform and oversee cycle counts and physical inventory counts Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate inventory discrepancies Manage inventory control activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory audits Oversee vendor returns, customer returns, and disposition of returned material Maintain warehouse organization and storage optimization Collaborate with Purchasing, Customer and Operations teams Develop and maintain warehouse procedures and work instructions Track and report key warehouse performance metrics and inventory results Qualifications of the Warehouse Supervisor Warehouse operations experience, including supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics processes Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams Experience with SAP and P21 (Prophet 21) preferred Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to lead, train, coach, and motivate employees Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Additional Information: Working Conditions: Warehouse and office environment; Frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, and material handling Training/Certifications: Forklift certification required (company certification available) Pallet Jack certification required (company certification available) Additional safety training as required Schedule/Overtime Requirements: Day Shift (Monday-Friday), Overtime as required to support business needs, Occasional weekend support and on-call availability may be required DXP offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time regular employees, normally working a minimum of 30 hours per week, including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, paid holidays, life and disability insurance, and additional supplemental benefits.
