Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations at the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient and effective receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role includes managing warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring safety and compliance, and optimizing warehouse processes to support the production needs of the manufacturing plant. Work together with Warehouse and Distribution Operations Manager to optimize operations. Job Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Warehouse, Inventory management, and shipping. Ensure that goods are received, inspected, and stored accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping departments to meet production schedules and demands. Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layout and space utilization to optimize workflow and storage capacity. Assist HR with recruitment, onboarding, and training. Administer probationary and annual performance reviews. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Work with the Warehouse and Distribution Operations Manager to implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure proper stock levels. Work with other departments to manage stock levels and reorder points. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to streamline operations and improve accuracy. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities. Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, including metrics such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and efficiency. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations to senior management based on analysis and operational needs. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to reduce risks, improve efficiency, and comply with safety standards. Job Requirements 2-year college degree or equivalent experience Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators. (KPIs) Leadership skills and the ability to manage personnel. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Experience in Visual ERP is considered an asset. Valid forklift, Aerial Lift, Crane, Rigging, and Hoisting licenses are considered an asset. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in the Power Generation sector.
